Register your businessBayshore has been making an impact for more than 20 years. For a long time, people were told to steer clear. Neighbors, artists and small business owners kept showing up anyway. They painted murals, opened studios and restaurants, and pushed for public art, until the rest of Naples started paying attention.
Galleries, studios, shops and eateries open their doors. Meet featured artists, browse vendors, catch live music and feel the creative energy of the neighborhood.

Glam rock met disco at the Wang Opera Center. Guests started with a cocktail hour and silent and live auctions, then settled in for artist-designed looks that blended fashion, sculpture and performance, with music from DJ Rickie and DJ Honeybee. The night closed with the Ziggy Stardust Supper Club, and raised a record $120,000 for local artists and arts programming.
The second EMBELLISHED filled Dimension Nightclub with more than 300 guests and raised over $100,000 for the Bayshore Arts District's group studio project. Many models were local volunteers, and artist and philanthropist Jackie Morelisse was the evening's honoree.
The first EMBELLISHED brought 21 artists and designers to the runway, with models walking through a contemporary furnishings showroom. Artists kept half of the proceeds, and the rest went toward the district's goal of an arts headquarters with workspace for artists.
